I figured I would share this with Tiffanie and the wide world of Bottle Rocketeers readers out there, given the optimum timing, even though it's been around a while, and Tiffanie, the ardent Jens lover she is, will almost certainly have heard it already. Either way, listen here!
I don't really take pictures the way Tiff does, so please forgive the shameless photoboothing. This is the inside cover to the notebook I've been writing/drawing/pasting in. It's been very therapeutic recently to stream-of-consciousness word-upchuck onto the page. It helps with my endless quest to be a better listener. I tend to talk a lot, so I've been trying to sit back and enjoy silence more, as opposed to chattering on aimlessly. But sometimes I can't help myself. And sometimes, I don't care that I can't help myself!I'm coming home for the last week in August, and possibly for the last two. Tiffanie--I'm glad you had fun baking cookies with my sister. I am exceedingly jealous, which was quite possibly your intention in leaving me that message full of giggles and shrieks and the sizzling of freshly prepared baked goods in the background. The two of you were obviously having the time of your life, and I wish I could have been there. But we'll be reunited before too long! And to the rest of Los Angeles--I miss you, too! I guess I'm more of a hometown girl than I thought!
