Boy, I've realized that I have increasingly been going out of my way to avoid awkward (or even social) situations. Like last year I found really long routes to and from my dorm to wherever just so I didn't have to see anyone I knew along the way. And a couple months ago I found myself driving all the way home just to avoid a party I didn't want to go to. And I repeatedly wake up really early on weekends just so I can be in the studio by myself. And yesterday I slept in the dorm next door just so I didn't have to talk to my roommate's friends. This is crazy, right?!

Btw those recluse type moments will pass and then will unexpectedly pop up again...you are always welcome to take a detour over to our pad.
